What I’m learning after a week on myfitnesspal

Myfitnesspal has been a really useful tool. The database features make calorie tracking pretty simple, and it’s been humbling to see how bad my eating habits were. The good news is that it seems to be fairly doable to keep below my calorie thresholds, and I’m beginning to understand where my weak points are so I can target them. While I’ve been pretty successful at exercising hard over the past few years, I think I’ve taken the resulting metabolism for granted, and I’m going to need to learn how to manage my nutrition if I want my body to be the best it can be – particularly when I hit the hardest stages of my career training and I don’t have the time to exercise this often.
